 Hotel Description:

One of the Hyatt Regency's more unique features is its onsite restaurant, Equinox. Guests can exercise in a complimentary fitness center, which features stair climbers, treadmills, bikes, and weights. Replacement workers are in place, and an end date has not been decided. The hotel has a business center with computer stations, high-speed Internet access, copiers, fax machines, and shipping service. This hotel offers 805 guestrooms. Situated along the revitalized Embarcadero waterfront, the hotel is across the street from the recently opened Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market. Located on the hotel's 20th-floor rooftop, the restaurant slowly rotates, making a complete revolution in 45 minutes and taking guests on a 360-degree tour of the Bay and the city skyline. The rooms are large and airy with sliding doors that open to the city or the bay, and the decor is cool, sleek and contemporary. The Hyatt Regency is located adjacent to the upscale Embarcadero Center, five blocks from the landmark Transamerica Pyramid, and one mile from Fisherman's Wharf's attractions. The guest rooms are approximately 400 square feet, with earth-tone fabrics, contemporary dark-wood furnishings, oversized desks, and 27-inch TVs. This striking contemporary hotel has an imposing angular design, with a soaring atrium lobby, and cylindrical glass elevators. The bathrooms have black-granite counters and designer toiletries. Until then, guests may encounter picket lines upon entering, and some services may be affected. NOTE: This hotel is experiencing a strike of hotel workers, (including cooks, room cleaners, bartenders, bellmen, food and beverage servers, bussers, and dishwashers).
