 Hotel Description:

The Radisson Miyako San Francisco Hotel is truly a unique option for elegant accommodations in an exotic, central San Francisco location. Some rooms have separate tubs and showers, but all have extra-deep Japanese soaking tubs. The Radisson Miyako's privacy and tranquility make it a favorite of visiting celebrities and other guests who appreciate the unique location. The Radisson Miyako San Francisco Hotel anchors the Japan Center, a complex of Asian specialty shops, restaurants, and gardens in the heart of San Francisco's vibrant "Japantown". This hotel has 218 guest rooms decorated with Japanese furnishings and artworks. The western-style beds have dark wood headboards, though the carpeting is printed with a traditional, Japanese, tatami-mat pattern. A large display of gold-trimmed platters features illustrations of Japanese landscapes, based on classic Hiroshige prints. The guest rooms overlook the hotel's interior courtyard or the surrounding streets. Guests will also enjoy complimentary wireless Internet access in the lobby. In place of Western- style blackout drapes, the windows are covered by hand- painted shoji panels and sliding rice-paper screens. Guests have access to a small fitness room and a business center, located onsite. Located 1 block off Geary Avenue, its parking lot disguised as a rock garden, with bonsai- trimmed pines and cobblestone driveway. The hotel's series of small, rock-lined gardens with a koi pond provide a meditative retreat.
